10 Ways to Get Involved at LSU

February 22, 2024

We're often asked how students can get involved on campus. While there are a multitude of paths a student can take, here are a few easy steps to get started.

  1. Create your profile on TigerLink lsu.edu/tigerlink. Your LSU story starts on TigerLink– find events and clubs to help you build community and make your mark on campus.
  2. Search Groups on TigerLink to find those that match your interests. If you do not see what you are looking for, we can help you start a new one!
  3. Visit the Involvement Fest to meet student groups in person. The event is typically held during the first two weeks of the semester.
  4. Give back to your community through service projects hosted by Volunteer LSU.
  5. Develop your leadership skills to enhance your student experience or to lead a student organization. Contact us for one-on-one coaching and group training.
  6. Volunteer at the LSU Food Pantry by signing up at lsu.edu/foodpantry. The pantry serves all currently enrolled students five days a week.
  7. Attend an on campus event after reviewing options on lsu.edu/tigerlink. You can filter by event type to see social, spiritual, cultural, academic, etc.
  8. Learn about LSU traditions and your new community by exploring the 101 Things to Do List on the Campus Life website.
  9. Discover other ways to get involved across campus, from intramural sports to fraternity and sorority life, student government, and on-campus employment
  10. Follow Campus Life on social media to keep up with the latest news – @lsucampuslife on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
